The delicate nature of fresh flowers means they have a short shelf life, contributing to even more waste when they perish before reaching consumers or during transport.
Faux floras are on the other hand a more sustainable choice. They require less water, fewer chemicals, and no pesticides during production. Their durability means they can be enjoyed for years, which reduces the overall environmental impact when compared to the short-lived nature of fresh flowers.

It’s startling but true—the majority of fresh flowers never make it to the market. Whether it’s due to spoilage during transport, being discarded for aesthetic imperfections, or market oversupply, a staggering amount of fresh flowers end up wasted, contributing to environmental harm.
